Exploratory Research

With so much to learn and many possible paths ahead, the beginning of a project is often the most invigorating phase. I work with clients to understand user/community needs, map out the scope of an experience or issue, and identify solutions to pressing and persistent problems. I bring a robust toolkit to my exploratory work, built over the course of 10+ years conducting research with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Program Design and Evaluation

I use my expertise as a behavioral scientist to help clients design and evaluate programs, including organizational approaches/policies, professional development curricula, community building initiatives, and behavior change support systems. I take time to learn about the unique aspects of each organization and its members, and I use my training in cultural psychology to create tailored programming and responsive evaluations.

Grant Writing

I love helping people accomplish their goals, and grant writing is one of my favorite ways to do this. In the past 6 years, I’ve secured grants ranging from $40,000 to $5,000,000 from both government and non-profit organizations. I use this experience to partner with clients at all phases of the grant writing process, from planning to writing to proofreading.
